8 Best Pencil Lead Carvings

If you've been on facebook lately I'm sure you've seen images of those amazing detailed carvings people carve into pencil lead. It's insane how tiny the carvings are, yet how detailed they are able to get!
Since I think they are super cool, I figured others do too and so I put together a list of what I think are the top 8 Pencil Lead Carvings

1. This first one is an astronaut doing a space walk, the detail put into his suit is truly amazing!  [Img Source]

2. Another pictionary pencil carving, except this time it's skydivers!  [Img Source]

3. Next up is this really cool train car carving, I bet all of those carts move independently and can wave back and forth, which is what puts it on this list.  [Img Source]

 4. These next two pencils have a chain connecting them...oh wait a minute, that's the pencil lead?!

Carved chain connecting two mini pencils...orr two halves?

5. This won a spot in the top 8 because I have a weak spot for anything woodworking related haha, and because for one, the key can move freely from the rest of the pencil. And for two, they used the wood of the pencil to make the wooden handsaw handle which I think makes it look very cool!  [Img Source]

6. Very clean double helix  [Img Source]

7. Who said the king was dead? He lives on through this pencil tip  [Img Source]

8. This reminds me of a tree, maybe I saw something like this in a movie, but I don't know.  [Img Source]

BONUS:
This one isn't carved into a pencil, but it looks so cool it'd be a shame if I didn't include it.  [Img Source]
